Ostuni

The city of Ostuni is the nickname of "White City has earned" for the dazzling whiteness of the lime plastered buildings of its lovely old village.

Ostuni dominates the Murgia countryside from a height of about 300 mt. and it enjoys an enviable view, looking out on the Adriatic coast dotted by tourist complexes of Rosa Marina, Pylon, Villanova and Costa Merlata renowned for their beauty and valued for the purity of their sea.
Ostuni, known as the "white city" or "crib city" due to the shape and whiteness of the houses making up the ancient nucleus, it is an authentic and inimitable example of Mediterranean architecture.
The city includes a historic core (Terra district), with a circular urban structure, developed around the Cathedral and still surrounded by the Aragonese bastions of the century. XV, and the new residential districts, arose especially along the slopes of the Murgia terrace.
The coast of Ostuni represents one of the major seaside tourist attractions on an international level: a coastal beauty with kilometers of white beaches and immersed in the Mediterranean scrub, alternating with small coves and high, jagged cliffs, clear and crystalline waters which for years have ensured our municipality has been awarded the "Blue Flag", emblem of water quality and seal of guarantee from an environmental point of view.
